INVENTORY PROCESS

1

Inventory & Check In

We inspect, document and photograph each area of the property to ensure we have a complete record of the condition for both landlord and tenant. Allowing 14 days for the document to be reviewed, commented into and signed online.

You will need an inventory for your property if you plan to make a claim at the end of the term, whilst this it's not possible to know in advance, for about £12 per month the protection offered is essential.

2

Check Out

When it comes to check out, we complete the process again, highlighting all changes and providing a claim summary at the end of the report. We aim to make the deposit process easy for all parties with clear before and after images to avoid any dispute.

Its essential that both Landlord and Tenant try to come to a resolution, however where this is not possible please refer to our dispute resolution guide.

Disputes

Landlords and tenants cannot always agree, so our reports are designed to be used with MyDeposits, DPS and TDS when making a claim. All you need to do is provide a copy of the reports and supporting invoices/documents to support your claim.

Remember all claims should be made within 10 working days of the termination of the tenancy.
