DAMP, CONDENSATION & MOULD

When a property has a damp, condensation or mould issue, it's essential that the source for the water ingress is identified. This could be a radiator leaking, water tank, window, gutters, structural issues or many more unusual sources. We offer a special resolution service to help landlords, tenants and agents identify and solve, complex property issues.

Whilst heating a property over 21 degrees Celsius and ventilating is often a good temporary solution, this is not always possible for many tenants. Our inspection will provide an in-depth report showing the issues and solutions. Whilst making a full assessment of any further inspection works required, from ground surveys to CCTV monitoring.

Mould sources can be a complex issue and we have specialist in this field available to ensure that we identify the sources correctly. Our assessments will identify Biological Genera of mould and will include sampling and testing where necessary. We advise caution when cleaning mould due to sporing causing health issues, correct treatment and safety wear should always be used.

Initial Assessment

At the first meeting, we will provide you with a report and photographs of the issues. Where possible we will identify the works required, or surveys required.

Service Plan

Once we have seen the issues, we will arrange to monitor the problem for you, from the instruction of works/surveys through to completion. 

Final Report

1 Month after the works have been completed we will provide a conclusion report for the property, ensuring that we can close every case with the comfort of complete resolution.

Concerned about safety?

We always advise tenants to contact the landlords or agents in writing to report the problem. If you cannot manage the issues within your property, create an action plan with the support of your agent, so you know what is expected of you.
